the perfect camera
I am currently in the process of purchasing a canon camera. My decision is between the canon rebel xti vs canon 30d. I am no pro when it comes to photography but I do enjoy it quite a bit. Now there are a few features that I like about the xti but am not quite sure if it will out weigh my desire to own the 30d. After reading about these cameras for days on the internet I realized that I still haven't found the advice I am looking for. See I was hoping to find a majority of votes for the 30d or xti but it seems to be a mixed opinion on the matter. Taking into consideration some of the following will hopefully help me choose which one is better for me.Canon XTi Pros
- EOS Integrated Cleaning System featuring a Self Cleaning Sensor Unit
- 10.1 megapixel (even though the 8.2 is plenty for what I will be doing)
- CMOS sensor and DIGIC II image processor
- more affordable
Canon 30D Pros
- User-selectable high-speed and low-speed continuous shooting
- 2.5 inch LCD that can be viewed at angles up to 170°
- CMOS sensor and DIGIC II image processor
- built more durable than the XTi
- quick dial settins on back
In conclusion the 30D is my choice due to the fact that I can sacrifice the 2 extra megapixels in exchange for the more durable magnesium-clad body and the dial options on the back.
